Head of Supply Chain & Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the end‑to‑end supply chain and procurement function for a luxury jewellery brand backed by private equity. Based in Munich, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, availability and cost discipline across Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Align purchasing activities with commercial objectives.
• Oversee product feasibility studies and supplier relationships.
• Direct manufacturing and atelier operations.
• Ensure quality control and assurance throughout the value chain.
• Plan inventory, stock levels and demand forecasting.
• Coordinate logistics, fulfilment and distribution.
• Lead organisational development and build high‑performing multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fine jewellery production and a deep understanding of materials, craftsmanship and product integrity.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in a luxury or high‑value product environment.
• Strong commercial awareness of cost, margin, quality and availability.
• Operational expertise across supply chain, production, inventory and logistics.
• Excellent supplier management and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience with international sourcing and production networks.
• Comfort operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
• Fluency in German and willingness to travel internationally.
