Head of Supply Chain Quality

About the role

EPI Europrop International GmbH is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Quality to lead its supply‑chain quality team in Munich. The role supports the Product Delivery Function, ensuring that all quality issues across the supply chain are managed to meet on‑time and on‑quality delivery commitments for the TP400‑D6 engine program.

Key responsibilities

• Manage NCRs raised within the supply chain (EAL, POT, BuyOff) and ensure timely resolution.
• Support and follow up customer quality issues in coordination with the Quality Assurance Representative at A400M FAL.
• Lead Quality Escapes (QER) investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate root‑cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers, EAL and FAL.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards and concession management.
• Conduct supplier quality reviews, industrial readiness reviews and engine buy‑off inspections.
• Perform internal and customer‑requested audits (QMS, POA) and ensure process compliance.
• Represent EPI on quality matters with suppliers and customers, and support new supplier sourcing.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in supply‑chain quality management within aerospace or engine manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of NCR, concession processes and quality‑escape handling.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) audit experience.
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• KPIs and scorecard development for supplier performance.
• Familiarity with Part‑21 (PCs, direct suppliers) regulations.
