Head of Utility Products & Services

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to define and drive the global utility product vision for 1komma5grad’s energy business. The role will shape strategy, oversee product teams and ensure seamless delivery of metering, tariffs, trading and flexibility services across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Set and steward the global product vision and roadmap for utility services, covering metering, tariffs, trading and flexibility.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering ownership, collaboration and innovation.
• Develop and implement global standards for systems, technical setups and partner integrations.
• Oversee market operations such as metering, trading and market communication, working closely with engineering and energy operations.
• Define and track KPIs on product performance, operational efficiency and profitability, using data‑driven insights.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and market alignment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product, commercial or operational leadership in the energy sector, preferably across multiple markets.
• Proven experience managing product managers and complex product domains with both business and technical dimensions.
• Deep understanding of energy retail, tariffs, metering, trading and market communications.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and ability to build business cases and measure ROI.
• Excellent communication in English and German, with a track record of influencing stakeholders.
