Health & Safety Coordinator (Germany)

About the role

Cencora is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to support its European operations during a maternity cover period. The role will ensure the implementation and compliance of the Health & Safety Management System across multiple German locations, fostering a safe working culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Health & Safety Management System in line with technical and legal requirements.
• Guide offices and colleagues on all health and safety matters and ensure consistent policy application.
• Monitor, evaluate and update health and safety policies to meet local regulations.
• Prepare responses to client questionnaires and coordinate client audits with branch managers.
• Authorize local H&S SOPs and liaise with external consultants to integrate regulations.
• Develop and deliver training on H&S topics, SOPs, and relevant legislation.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and manage corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, reporting to authorities when required.
• Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of office buildings and equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing health and safety management systems.
• Strong knowledge of German health and safety regulations.
• Ability to provide guidance and training to diverse teams.
• Experience coordinating audits and preparing compliance documentation.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills.

• Competitive salary range of €50,000 – €60,000.
