HR Business Partner – Frankfurt

About the role

We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Frankfurt team at NIPPON EXPRESS (DEUTSCHLAND) GmbH & Co. KG, a leading logistics provider. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives and supporting a workforce of around 1,000 employees across Germany and neighboring countries.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
• Provide counsel on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and talent development.
• Drive succession planning, employee engagement and retention programmes.
• Ensure compliance with German labour law and internal HR policies.
• Analyse HR metrics, produce insights and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Collaborate with the works council and manage recruitment for assigned branches.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of HR business partnering experience in a complex, multi‑site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of German labour law, employee relations and compliance.
• Proven ability to advise managers on performance, talent development and workforce planning.
• Fluent in German and English and eligible to work in Germany.
• Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field is a plus.

Required skills

• Workday (or similar HRIS) experience.
• SAP SuccessFactors (or similar HRIS) experience.
