Hybrid Near Patient Nurse (m/f/d) – Nuremberg

About the role

We are seeking an experienced hospital nurse to join our hybrid Near Patient Nurse team in Nuremberg. The role combines on‑site hospital visits with remote work, offering a predictable schedule, no night shifts, and the chance to collaborate internationally while supporting the TRICARE Overseas Program.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a clinical liaison between German hospitals and international medical teams, ensuring continuity and patient‑centred care.
• Manage inpatient cases, monitor care quality, and produce accurate medical reports in English.
• Communicate clinical updates to physicians, nursing staff, and international stakeholders.
• Coordinate safe discharges and support patients navigating the German healthcare system.
• Provide bilingual (German/English) patient advocacy and education.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with providers, contributing to quality assessments.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in acute inpatient care.
• Active registration to practice in Germany.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style, and confidence with digital documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
