ICS/OT Security Consultant – Berlin/Remote (Germany)

About the role

Our client is an established cybersecurity consultancy specializing in IT/OT environments and critical infrastructure. They are seeking an experienced ICS/OT Security Consultant to join their team and contribute to a variety of projects across Germany, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver security projects for industrial control systems and operational technology environments.
• Develop and enhance Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) for OT assets.
• Perform security analyses, audits, and reviews of ICS/OT infrastructures.
• Implement industry‑specific standards such as IEC 62443 and BDEW.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including penetration testing and general information security.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional consulting experience in cybersecurity for ICS/OT environments.
• Proven experience designing and improving ISMS and conducting security audits.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, BDEW, and other critical‑infrastructure standards.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
• Fluent English and German (C1 level) with strong communication skills.
