In-House Counsel

About the role

CLO Virtual Fashion is seeking a motivated In‑House Counsel to join its legal team. The role supports the company’s fast‑growing global operations, focusing on contract execution, cross‑functional partnership, and employment law matters within a technology‑driven fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, draft and expedite a variety of agreements, including software licensing, SaaS/cloud service terms, NDAs and DPAs for EMEA sales and alliances.
• Collaborate with sales, security and HR teams to ensure deals align with internal policies and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Handle internal employment law issues in close cooperation with HR.
• Identify and implement legal process improvements to accelerate deal closure.
• Maintain a positive, solutions‑focused attitude while supporting colleagues and the company’s interests.

Required profile

• German law degree with successful completion of the first state exam (Erstes Juristisches Staatsexamen).
• 1‑3 years of post‑qualification experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Native‑level German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of German employment law.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as the metaverse, AI and digital assets.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, evolving industry.
• Overseas legal education or work experience, or prior in‑house counsel experience for a global organization is a plus.
