Independent Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Independent Attorney to work remotely on a contract basis. You will apply your legal expertise to evaluate and improve AI‑generated contract outputs, helping to train next‑generation models across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to assess AI suggestions for accuracy and legal soundness.
• Review AI‑generated contract scenarios, providing detailed feedback to enhance model performance.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in AI‑drafted contracts and propose corrections aligned with legal standards.
• Ensure high‑quality legal input that improves the reliability of AI systems used in contract drafting and negotiation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in contract drafting, review, or negotiation within a legal or corporate environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess legal risks in contract scenarios.
• Familiarity with SaaS contracts and technology transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate legal reasoning clearly.
