Intern – New Markets Expansion

About the role

As an Intern in New Markets you will support Westwing’s expansion strategy, helping to shape market entry, positioning and launch execution across Europe. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, own analytical work streams and contribute to data‑driven growth decisions. The internship lasts up to six months and is based in Munich.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex data from multiple sources to generate commercial insights and support senior leadership decisions.
• Conduct market and competitor research to benchmark practices and propose strategic recommendations.
• Build quantitative models and high‑quality presentations for executive stakeholders.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve research speed and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Ongoing or completed studies in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field.
• First practical experience in strategy consulting, business development or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong analytical mindset with proactive, structured and self‑driven working style.
• Fluency in English and German.
