Internship – Coverage & Relationship Management (Germany)

About the role

This internship supports the Coverage and Relationship Management team serving German‑, Austrian‑ and Swiss‑based corporate and financial institution clients. You will work closely with senior bankers and relationship managers, gaining hands‑on experience in market analysis, client interaction and deal preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market studies and business analyses for client sectors.
• Prepare and update presentations, pitch documents, client information packs and press reviews for senior bankers.
• Draft briefing notes for senior‑management client visits.
• Assist with due‑diligence tasks and coordinate with internal business lines worldwide.
• Maintain and review the client database for the assigned portfolio.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program, preferably in finance, business administration or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in an investment bank is a plus.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities, highly motivated and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
