IT Security Expert - Incident Response

About the role

We are seeking an IT Security Expert with a focus on Incident Response to design, build, and operate a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programme for a regulated financial services organisation in Munich. You will own the DLP lifecycle, collaborate with stakeholders, and help embed a security‑first mindset across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a DLP solution across the enterprise.
• Identify and classify sensitive data in partnership with business units.
• Select, install, configure, and integrate the DLP platform into the existing infrastructure.
• Manage and fine‑tune SIEM and DLP rule sets to improve detection of emerging threats.
• Conduct regular audits and reporting to demonstrate programme effectiveness.
• Provide training and guidance to foster a security‑first culture.
• Participate in additional security projects as required.

Required profile

• Practical experience in IT security, including penetration testing and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and networking concepts.
• Fluent in German and English.
