IT Service Desk Working Student (m/f/d)

About the role

Fluence is seeking a motivated IT Service Desk Working Student to join its internal support team in Erlangen. You will gain hands‑on experience in a global energy‑tech environment, working with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow and core enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware and software in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Set up and deploy Windows and macOS desktop computers.
• Assist with user account management in Active Directory.
• Help procure, inventory and distribute IT equipment.
• Support Office 365, SharePoint and ServiceNow tasks.
• Maintain knowledge‑base articles in ServiceNow.
• Manage hardware and software inventory.
• Troubleshoot audio/video conferencing systems.
• Assist with administration of core hosted applications.
• Collaborate with local IT vendors and internal teams.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and/or macOS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office apps, Teams, Outlook).
• Interest in IT support, troubleshooting and end‑user services.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Erlangen.
