IT Support Engineer – Onsite Desk & Mobility Services

About the role

The Onsite IT Support Engineer will deliver hands‑on technical assistance to end‑users at the client’s Hamburg office. Working from the IT Lounge and directly at desks, you will ensure laptops, desktops, mobile devices and network connectivity operate smoothly in line with the client’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside support for hardware, software and connectivity incidents, logging work in ServiceNow.
• Act as first point of contact at the IT Lounge/Walk‑In Center, handling device swaps, MFA assistance and AV troubleshooting.
• Support Enterprise Mobility Services – macOS devices, Azure AD registration and Microsoft Intune enrollment.
• Perform Install‑Move‑Add‑Change‑Delete (IMACD) tasks, imaging, staging and data migration.
• Carry out basic LAN/Wi‑Fi patching, cabling and access‑point troubleshooting.
• Maintain asset records and CMDB entries in ServiceNow, including tagging and lifecycle tracking.
• Provide backup coverage for nearby sites and travel to client locations as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onsite desktop/deskside support.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and follow ITSM processes.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS device support.
• Enterprise Mobility Services (EMS), Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
• ServiceNow and ITSM process knowledge.
• Basic LAN/Wi‑Fi networking.
