IT System Administrator – Healthcare (Remote/On-site)

About the role

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to support and evolve the IT infrastructure of a dynamic healthcare environment. You will ensure stable, secure operations while contributing to impactful projects and modern communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows 11 workstations and Windows Server (2016+) environments, including Active Directory.
• Provide first‑level support remotely and on‑site, acting as a bridge to second‑ and third‑level teams.
• Manage telephone systems and endpoint devices.
• Participate in planning and implementation of IT projects, offering specialized expertise.
• Maintain and optimise Cisco network infrastructure and VMware virtualisation platforms.
• Monitor system performance, availability and security, and keep IT documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in IT or an equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong command of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Structured, independent working style with openness to new topics.
• Outgoing personality and good communication skills.
