Junior Procurement Specialist (Dutch) – Hybrid (Berlin)

About the role

Join BASF's Global Business Services team in Berlin as a Junior Procurement Specialist. You will support the procurement of raw materials, technical goods and services for BASF entities across Europe, working in a hybrid model that combines office presence with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end Purchase‑to‑Pay processes in line with BASF procurement guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to place and monitor orders, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Handle non‑conformities, resolve issues, and act as the central contact for operational procurement queries.
• Enter and maintain master data for contracts in BASF’s IT systems.
• Provide support to stakeholders including internal customers, suppliers, strategic buyers and finance colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field (vocational education also acceptable).
• Initial professional experience in business or commerce; purchasing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English; French or German are advantageous.
• Ability to identify customer needs and enjoy a consulting approach.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or other procurement‑related IT applications.
