Junior Procurement Specialist – Spanish & Italian (Hybrid)

About the role

As a (Junior) Procurement Specialist you will support BASF’s European operations by handling day‑to‑day purchasing activities for raw materials, technical goods and services. The role is based in Berlin with a hybrid working model, requiring fluent Spanish and/or Italian together with English.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Purchase‑to‑Pay processes in line with BASF procurement guidelines.
• Create, maintain and update master data for contracts in the IT systems.
• Coordinate orders with internal business partners, suppliers and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage non‑conformities and resolve issues related to deliveries.
• Serve as the primary contact for operational procurement queries from stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field (vocational education acceptable).
• Initial professional experience, preferably in purchasing or a commercial environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and/or Italian and English.
• Ability to identify customer needs and provide consulting support.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar procurement‑related IT applications).
