Junior Researcher – Liquid Food Product Developer (40h)

About the role

Join PlantaCorp’s R&D team in Hamburg as a Junior Researcher focused on liquid food product development. You will work hands‑on in a modern laboratory, applying the company’s proprietary liposomal technology to create innovative dietary‑supplement formulations.

Key responsibilities

• Become a specialist in PlantaCorp’s liposomal encapsulation technology.
• Evaluate ingredient compatibility and prepare pilot‑scale formulations.
• Conduct stability and shelf‑life testing on experimental products.
• Provide formulation insights for client consultations and support the Business Development team.
• Collaborate with Quality Control on joint research projects.
• Research market trends to support Marketing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate lab records and training documentation.

Required profile

• Completed degree or training in chemistry, biotechnology, food technology or a related scientific field (Master’s preferred).
• Solid foundational knowledge of chemistry and basic experience in an analytical or formulation laboratory.
• Strong interest in dietary supplements, plant‑based extracts and functional ingredients.
• Curiosity to explore topics ranging from formulation science to market trends.
• Ability to communicate scientific data clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
