Junior Software Engineer – Apprenticeship

About the role

As a Junior Software Engineer apprentice you will support agile IT projects, gain hands‑on experience with the company’s IT landscape, and contribute to innovative solutions in autonomous driving, connected vehicles and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of agile IT projects with a focus on data and process analysis.
• Extract, analyse, prepare and present data from development and customer sources.
• Support the development and maintenance of software components using Java and C++.
• Explore and apply data‑analysis techniques such as deep learning, neural networks, data mining and big‑data processing.
• Collaborate across multiple departments to deliver innovative IT solutions.

Required profile

• Strong motivation and self‑initiative to learn and grow.
• Enthusiasm for teamwork in a multicultural, international environment.
• Interest in IT and programming with an organized, precise work approach.
• Good German language proficiency and a secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife, Fachabitur or Abitur).
