Junior UI Developer – Remote

About the role

As a Junior UI Developer you will join Alpine Business Consulting’s finance‑focused projects, helping to turn complex financial data into clear, user‑friendly web interfaces. Working remotely, you will collaborate with senior consultants to build and maintain dashboards that replace manual spreadsheets for a Hamburg‑based logistics group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript.
• Assist senior developers in linking front‑end components to back‑end APIs.
• Document technical requirements and interface designs for handover.
• Debug browser compatibility issues and ensure consistent user experience.
• Maintain a library of UI components and style guides.
• Test new features against design specifications.
• Provide clear documentation for post‑engagement UI updates.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of front‑end development (HTML5, CSS3).
• Familiarity with JavaScript and interest in data visualization.
• Ability to create functional, accessible layouts for corporate users.
• Strong attention to detail when matching builds to mockups.
• Good communication skills for non‑technical colleagues.
• Organised coding habits and file management.
• Willingness to learn enterprise performance‑management concepts.
