Legal Counsel (Berlin)

About the role

Wolt is looking for a generalist Legal Counsel to join its Berlin legal team. You will support the company’s rapid expansion across Germany and other European markets, handling a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director Legal Germany in identifying and managing legal risk across the business.
• Provide clear, pragmatic advice on commercial and operational issues to multiple business functions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for legal queries, delivering timely, solution‑oriented guidance.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements while aligning with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Marketing, Retail, and Sales to meet their specific legal needs.
• Work closely with international legal colleagues at DoorDash and Deliveroo to ensure consistency across jurisdictions.
• Contribute to the improvement of legal templates, processes and workflows for greater efficiency.
• Support strategic projects, including compliance initiatives, to enable fast business growth.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial law and regulatory matters.
• Comfortable working across German and broader European markets.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
• Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
