Legal Counsel – Intellectual Property & Competition Law

About the role

Flix is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its growing global operations. The role focuses on intellectual property, especially trademark management, as well as competition law and litigation matters. You will work closely with internal teams and external counsel to protect the company’s assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop Flix’s worldwide trademark portfolio, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Advise on competition law issues and ensure compliance with antitrust regulations.
• Coordinate and monitor litigation matters, maintaining internal tracking tools and liaising with external counsel.
• Help establish and improve internal processes for tracking legal proceedings and risks.
• Provide legal support on a variety of emerging business initiatives and gradually take ownership of defined legal projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified German lawyer with 2–4 years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or in‑house setting.
• Experience with intellectual property (especially trademarks), competition law, or litigation is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to work with external counsel on complex matters.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured working approach.
• Fluent in German and English.
