Legal Counsel

About the role

Wolt is seeking a generalist Legal Counsel to join its Berlin legal team. The role will support Wolt’s fast‑growing business across Germany and other European markets, focusing on commercial and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director Legal Germany in identifying and managing legal risks across the business.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of commercial and operational issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for legal queries from multiple functions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements while aligning with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Marketing, Retail, and Sales to meet their legal needs.
• Work closely with international colleagues at DoorDash and Deliveroo to ensure consistency across jurisdictions.
• Contribute to the improvement of legal templates, processes and workflows.
• Support strategic projects, including compliance initiatives, to enable rapid business growth.

Required profile

• Law degree with relevant qualification.
• Experience handling commercial law and regulatory matters in European markets.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and provide clear, solution‑oriented guidance.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
