Legal Counsel

About the role

POP MART is seeking a Legal Counsel to lead and manage all legal affairs for its German operations. You will support strategic initiatives, ensure compliance, and act as the primary legal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, leases and construction contracts relevant to the German business.
• Provide dedicated legal support for key strategic projects, advising on regulatory and compliance matters from inception to completion.
• Conduct legal research and manage legal risks related to both offline and online operations in Germany.
• Champion group‑level compliance within the German entity and liaise with governmental departments.
• Independently manage comprehensive legal projects and advisory services concerning German regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Law degree with admission to practice in Germany.
• Proven experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong independent project‑management abilities and excellent analytical skills.
• Fluent in German and English, with outstanding written and verbal communication.
