Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a German‑qualified Legal Counsel to join our in‑house legal team in Berlin. The position focuses on transactional work, supporting acquisitions, employment matters, data‑protection compliance and day‑to‑day commercial issues across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead M&A and other transactional activities, including drafting and reviewing acquisition agreements and commercial contracts.
• Provide employment law advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and advise on data‑protection matters.
• Coordinate and manage external counsel for cross‑border legal issues.
• Deliver pragmatic commercial and operational legal support to the business.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Germany.
• Experience working in‑house or at a law firm with a focus on corporate/M&A matters.
• Strong transactional mindset and ability to handle acquisitions and commercial contracts.
• Solution‑oriented approach and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, lean team.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills
