Legal Expert – Fortune 500 Specialist (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to design and evaluate enterprise‑level legal scenarios for Fortune 500 companies. This remote contract role focuses on compliance, transactional, and litigation contexts across multiple regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Construct realistic legal situations covering in‑house counsel, regulatory, transactional, and litigation work for large corporations.
• Draft and review documents aligned with compliance regimes such as FCPA, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and sector‑specific rules.
• Develop large‑scale contracting tasks (MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, licensing) and support M&A diligence for Fortune 500 transactions.
• Create ERM and COSO‑aligned risk scenarios, board‑level reports, and investigations for regulated industries.
• Author detailed rubrics that reflect senior‑lawyer judgment for assessment and training purposes.

Required profile

• 5+ years as in‑house counsel at a Fortune 500 or large public company, or as a partner/senior associate at an AmLaw 100 firm serving Fortune 500 clients.
• Deep experience in at least one enterprise practice area (M&A, securities, regulatory, employment, IP, privacy, or commercial contracting).
• Active bar admission and JD degree.

Required skills

• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management platforms such as Ironclad, Agiloft, or Icertis.
• Experience with enterprise GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) tooling.
