Legal Intern – Commercial & Venture Capital Law

About the role

Join Impossible Cloud GmbH as a Legal Intern and gain hands‑on experience across the full spectrum of legal matters in a fast‑growing tech company. You will work directly with the In‑House Legal Counsel and senior management, supporting commercial, corporate, and employment law activities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with enterprise customers, resellers, and technology partners.
• Assist with venture‑capital transactions, including term‑sheet research, financing round documentation, and cap‑table maintenance.
• Support employment‑law matters throughout the employee lifecycle, from contract drafting to termination and works‑council issues under German law.
• Develop and maintain scalable contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal processes as deal volume increases.
• Conduct legal research on diverse topics and produce clear, well‑structured summaries.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a law degree program, preferably having completed the First State Examination (Erstes Staatsexamen) or an equivalent qualification.
• First exposure to commercial or corporate law through internships, clerkships, moot courts, or coursework.
• Genuine interest in German employment law, contract law, and venture‑capital/M&A topics.
• Fluent in English with good knowledge of German.
