Legal Office Manager – Paralegal & Project Management

About the role

Amazon is looking for a highly organized Legal Office Manager to join its German Legal Department. The role blends paralegal expertise with project‑management responsibilities, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations while supporting litigation and cross‑functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily office activities for the DE Legal team, acting as the central point of contact.
• Provide substantive paralegal support on litigation matters, including document preparation and case tracking.
• Liaise with external counsel and internal business partners to maintain clear communication and efficient workflows.
• Lead and drive cross‑functional projects, focusing on simplification, process improvement, and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Experience as a paralegal, legal program manager, or in legal case management.
• Proven ability to work proactively, independently, and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or equivalent; paralegal qualification considered equivalent.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and judgment skills, with discretion handling confidential information.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in German and English.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word.
• Experience building or using AI tools to streamline workflows.
