Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinical Services

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides a range of medical services for daily appointments, including injections, vaccines, counseling, pregnancy tests, contraceptive supplies, blood pressure monitoring, and phlebotomy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures within scope of practice: injections, phlebotomy, port flushes, EKGs, dressing changes, on‑site lab tests, vital signs, ear lavage, stitch removal, etc.
• Explain procedures to clients, answer questions, and counsel on health maintenance.
• Document client information accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain clinical tracking for follow‑up and preventive health.
• Communicate abnormal findings to providers and ensure appropriate assessment before client departure.
• Dispense non‑prescriptive medication/contraceptives per pharmacy guidelines; supervise dispensing of prescriptive medication when required.
• Replenish supplies, sterilize equipment, and follow autoclaving instructions.

Required profile

• Licensed in the State of NH as an RN or LPN.
• Ability to relate well with people, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly in writing and orally.
• Capability to work independently and adapt to clinical/agency changes.
• Proficiency in reading safety rules, writing reports, and speaking effectively to groups.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculations and interpreting data.
• Problem‑solving and reasoning abilities for practical situations.
