Linen Porter (Hausmann) – Full-Time or Part-Time

About the role

The Hoxton, Charlottenburg in Berlin is looking for a linen porter (Hausmann) to join its Berlin housekeeping team on a temporary basis. The role reports to the Head Housekeeper and covers both full-time and part-time schedules, including maternity leave cover. The hotel has 234 bedrooms, a ground-floor restaurant, lobby bar, streetside terrace and The Apartment, a meetings and events concept.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to brand standards, keeping them well presented and maintained.
• Oversee the daily delivery and collection of linen and terry.
• Stock linen and housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in stores, and keep those storage areas clean and tidy.
• Keep guest floors clean and well maintained at all times.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks as required.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed and report breaches to the Head Housekeeper.
• Handle cleaning materials correctly and follow COSHH regulations.
• Attend all required training and provide friendly, helpful service to guests.

Required profile

• Good communication skills; German and English are favourable.
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Keen attention to detail and a go-and-do attitude.
• Willingness to try almost everything once and enjoy a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun.
