Local SEO Project Manager for Scalable Agency Work (WordPress + GMB + Citations)

About the role

We are looking for a Local SEO Project Manager to lead high‑volume, remote‑first SEO campaigns for a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑sized businesses. You will combine hands‑on technical SEO work with strong project‑management discipline to ensure consistent performance and scalability across hundreds of client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute local SEO campaigns for multiple clients across various industries and locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math and Yoast.
• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles to improve map‑pack visibility.
• Build, audit, and clean up business citations on major local directories using tools like BrightLocal, Yext, and Whitespark.
• Implement on‑page optimizations to boost local rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
• Monitor rankings, analyze performance data, and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate recurring SEO tasks to ensure timely delivery and process consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing local SEO campaigns at scale, preferably in an agency or multi‑location environment.
• Strong expertise in Google Business Profile optimization and citation management.
• Ability to organize and oversee a high volume of concurrent projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
