Logistic Service Coordinator – Ocean Freight Export

About the role

As a Logistic Service Coordinator for ocean freight export, you will independently manage export shipments from our Hamburg office, ensuring smooth planning, execution, and compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle ocean freight export shipments from start to finish.
• Plan, book, create transport orders and track shipments.
• Report non‑conformances against KPIs.
• Collaborate with approved subcontractors at agreed rates.
• Provide customer support and coordinate with overseas houses/agents.
• Register and process complaints while meeting deadlines.
• Prepare order settlements and process incoming invoices.
• Optimize workflows, monitor results and maintain ISO 9001 and SQAS data.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in ocean freight export.
• Commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding or logistics services coordinator.
• Proven ability to handle export shipments independently.
• Strong written and spoken German and English.
• Quick adaptation to changing policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Confident use of MS Office applications.
