Logistics Coordinator

About the role

As a Logistics Coordinator within Tesla’s Engineering Facility team in Berlin Köpenick, you will ensure reliable material flow and efficient warehouse operations that support engineering projects. You will work closely with engineering, facility, and supply‑chain teams to align logistics processes with project timelines and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain logistics processes tailored to engineering and site requirements.
• Support inbound logistics: coordinate suppliers, schedule deliveries and verify goods receipt.
• Coordinate outbound logistics for engineering materials, prototypes and project shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hazardous‑materials regulations (UN, ADR, IATA) including packaging and documentation.
• Manage non‑production material warehousing, inventory control, storage organization and material tracking.
• Monitor and optimise material flow to reduce bottlenecks in engineering operations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align logistics with project timelines and new‑project readiness.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of logistics operations experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or industrial settings.
• Proven experience managing inbound and outbound logistics and coordinating with suppliers.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow and inventory management.
• Knowledge of hazardous‑materials regulations (UN, ADR, IATA).
• Experience with ERP or logistics systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with lean logistics, 5S or continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Effective communication in English; German is a plus.
