Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day logistics activities across our German locations. You will ensure reliable, agile operations that consistently meet delivery deadlines, maintain accurate order fulfillment, and support our customers with high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily logistics operations, managing third‑party (3PL) warehouses and data‑center logistics in assigned locations.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators, vendor scorecards, and develop business cases for process enhancements.
• Optimize transportation routes, carrier selection, and modes to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.
• Implement risk‑mitigation strategies, diversify suppliers, and use real‑time monitoring for flexible operations.
• Drive sustainability initiatives through better load planning, greener supplier choices, and eco‑friendly packaging.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on program‑management activities, budgeting, invoice control, and capital projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of logistics operations experience.
• 5 years managing domestic and international vendors or third‑party logistics.
• 5 years in a customer‑facing role supporting logistics.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time.
