Mandatory Internship AI & Digitalization in Finance

About the role

During your internship you will support the identification and implementation of AI use cases in controlling and FP&A processes. You will analyse existing finance processes, identify automation opportunities and help develop AI‑driven prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Support identification and implementation of AI use cases in finance and controlling.
• Analyse finance processes and pinpoint automation opportunities.
• Assist in developing prototypes and solutions using generative AI, automation tools and data analytics.
• Create business cases, presentations and management materials for AI‑driven transformation initiatives.
• Research emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to finance.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders across finance, IT and shared‑service organisations.

Required profile

• Studies in Business Information Systems, Business Administration (focus on IS), Data Science, Computer Science, Finance or a comparable field with good grades.
• First practical experience in Finance, Controlling, Data Science, AI, Process Automation or a related area.
• Ability to analyse complex problems systematically and structure tasks into clear action plans.
• On‑site presence required.
• Strong interest in digital transformation and AI applications within finance functions.
• Very good English and good German language skills.
