Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities in a high‑performance manufacturing environment. This strategic position will shape manufacturing processes, support production growth, and drive capital‑intensive projects while ensuring successful industrialisation of new products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Manufacturing Engineering team, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Define and execute the manufacturing engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Develop production capacity plans to meet future demand.
• Plan, execute, and deliver CAPEX projects on time and within budget.
• Drive industrialisation of new products from development to full‑scale manufacturing.
• Optimise processes to improve productivity, quality, safety, and OEE.
• Identify and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Develop cost‑reduction programmes focused on waste reduction and productivity gains.
• Support manufacturing transfer and localisation projects across international sites.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Product Management.
• Define and monitor engineering KPIs and maintain documentation, standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Highly motivated engineering leader with extensive experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver engineering solutions that support business growth.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach.
• Comfortable working across multiple functions in an international setting.
