Mechanical Engineer – Advanced Interface Development

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in advanced interface development for consumer‑electronics products such as shavers, trimmers and epilators. The role is based in Boblingen, Germany and involves close onsite collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive rapid prototyping and product launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept‑to‑industrialisation projects for mechanical components, from design through validation.
• Develop 3D CAD models and assemblies using Creo and manage data in Windchill.
• Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis, DfM assessments and Finite Element Analysis to ensure product robustness.
• Prototype development, testing and iteration to meet defined milestones.
• Document engineering decisions and maintain compliance with regulated product development standards.

Required profile

• Strong R&D and mechanical product development experience in the B2B consumer‑electronics segment.
• Hands‑on, self‑driven mindset with the ability to work independently within defined constraints.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and technical communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
