Mobile Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our cross‑functional team and help deliver high‑quality iOS and Android experiences within the Kaufland e‑commerce module. You will own the full feature lifecycle, from concept through release and monitoring in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile features across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) platforms.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, product managers and designers to shape data‑driven, hypothesis‑based experiences.
• Take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, release, and post‑launch monitoring.
• Improve development workflows, application architecture, and modular codebases.
• Mentor and help scale the mobile engineering team, fostering a culture of learning and quality.
• Contribute fresh ideas and new technologies to continuously improve the mobile application lifecycle.

Required profile

• Solid experience in core mobile development with Swift and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of SOLID and DRY principles applied daily.
• Hands‑on experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and VIPER.
• Comfortable working with large, complex codebases and modular architecture.
• DevOps mindset with responsibility for monitoring and maintaining high‑quality software.
• Fluent English (C1) and comfortable in an international, agile environment.
