Office Manager (Front Desk)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Office Manager to be the welcoming face of our fast‑growing green‑tech startup in Hamburg. You will keep the office running smoothly, support the team’s daily needs, and help create a vibrant workplace where everyone can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain common areas, supplies and vendor relationships to ensure a professional environment.
• Act as the first point of contact for guests, partners and employees, handling communications and logistics.
• Prepare meeting rooms and equipment, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and coordinate external support when needed.
• Organise team events, off‑sites, travel arrangements and company gatherings with meticulous attention to detail.
• Support onboarding, employee experience, benefits administration and basic HR tasks.
• Identify process improvements, bring structure to chaotic situations and drive proactive solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in office management, front‑office, hospitality or a similar role within a fast‑growing company.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment and supporting growth phases.
• Excellent communication in German and English, with a service‑oriented attitude.
• Strong organisational skills, reliability and a keen eye for detail.
• Proactive, hands‑on mindset with high ownership and a collaborative spirit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with productivity tools such as Notion.

What we offer

• 2‑year fixed‑term contract with a salary of €40,000–€46,000 per year (full‑time).
