About the role
We are looking for a hands‑on, team‑oriented Office Manager to join our Berlin office. You will be the backbone of the workplace, ensuring smooth daily operations and creating a welcoming environment for all Brevonauts.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, including kitchen upkeep and supply management.
- Manage incoming post, office‑related emails, and invoice scanning/processing via Spendesk together with finance.
- Track and report on office budgets (events, supplies, travel) on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate employee events and well‑being initiatives, from weekly lunches to large‑scale parties.
- Support onboarding and offboarding for Berlin‑based staff (desk setup, welcome gifts, office tours).
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, organize inspections, fire safety and first‑aid training, and evacuation drills with external partners.
- Lead ISO and ASA audit preparation and contribute to sustainability projects such as carbon‑footprint tracking.
- Manage the cleaning team, procure supplies, and perform regular quality checks.
- Document and continuously improve office processes to drive operational consistency.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee requests, resolving issues proactively.
- Communicate regularly with the Berlin team via Slack and internal channels.
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with finance, HR, and safety partners.
- Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast‑growing environment.
