Offshore Telecom Technician – 14/14 Rotation

About the role

SeaRenergy is seeking experienced Telecom Technicians to join an offshore wind project starting 09 June 2026. The role is freelance, based on an offshore installation, and follows a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation schedule with accommodation provided during offshore rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Support installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of offshore telecom and communication systems.
• Perform signal verification and validation of dry‑contact signals.
• Pull, adapt and terminate special cabling such as Ethernet, coaxial and power cables.
• Test and commission communication systems, including fiber‑optic and RS485‑based networks.
• Install and maintain telecom equipment like speakers, cameras, outlets and other communication devices.
• Carry out inspections, reporting and documentation of work performed and findings.
• Conduct network connectivity checks, terminal access and basic IP network troubleshooting.
• Assist with connectorisation, branch testing and other telecom‑related mechanical tasks.

Required profile

• Completed technical education in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication Technology or a comparable discipline.
• Initial to several years of experience with telecom systems, offshore installations or commissioning activities.
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently offshore and deliver clear technical reports.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements.
