Operations Associate – Courier HR

About the role

Wolt is looking for an Operations Associate to support its courier workforce across Germany. The role combines day‑to‑day HR operations with process improvement, ensuring couriers receive a smooth and consistent employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for couriers, handling performance questions and routine inquiries.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, off‑boarding, contractual changes, leave management and documentation.
• Audit and maintain personnel‑related documents to ensure legal compliance.
• Maintain data quality in HR systems, identify errors and follow up on missing information.
• Collaborate with Payroll to guarantee timely and accurate salary payments.
• Continuously improve HR processes and the overall service experience.
• Utilise AI tools to automate tasks and drive smarter ways of working.

Required profile

• Completed commercial vocational training (kaufmännische Ausbildung) or equivalent.
• Additional HR certification or proven HR work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a service‑mindset.
• Proactive, empathetic and comfortable taking ownership of both strategic and operational tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with HR information systems.
• Basic data‑management and auditing abilities.
