About the role

Amazon’s Operations team is the engine that ensures orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time. As an Operations Manager in Eggolsheim, you will lead shift teams, coordinate with multiple support functions, and drive continuous improvement to keep the site performing at its best.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams during the late or night shift, addressing issues and influencing site performance.
• Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, Security, and other support teams.
• Design and deliver initiatives that enhance operational performance across the site.

Required profile

• Experience leading shifts at an operational site.
• Ability to act as the key link between finance, safety, and operations integration teams.
• Comfort with day‑to‑day site operations while contributing to innovative improvements.
• Strong analytical mindset for performance and risk metrics.
• Mentoring and coaching skills to develop managers and their teams.
