Operator – Gas Cylinder Handling & Forklift

About the role

We are looking for an Operator to support our green‑hydrogen production site in Hattingen. The role involves sorting and handling various gas cylinders, assisting with filling operations, and operating a forklift within a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service and logistics: act as the on‑site contact for customers, sort and provide gas cylinders, handle telephone orders and process deliveries.
• Warehouse management: manage inventory, receive goods, test exchange bottles for suitability, store products using conveyors, and record movements in the PACT warehouse management system.
• Safety and compliance: carry out required CLT activities, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to ADR, load‑securing, occupational health and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Ability to work 37.5 hours per week on a 5‑day schedule.
• Willingness to start immediately.
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment handling gas cylinders.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Use of SAP for order entry.
• Familiarity with PACT warehouse management system.
• Knowledge of ADR and load‑securing regulations.
