People Operations Coordinator (Part‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

Strava is looking for a part‑time People Operations Coordinator to support its Berlin office while covering a parental‑leave period. The role is focused on creating a welcoming, well‑run workplace and ensuring smooth onboarding and off‑boarding for employees across Germany, Ireland and France.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day office operations in Berlin, including facilities, supplies, health & safety, guest access, room bookings and office amenities.
• Welcome new hires on their first day with office tours, onboarding sessions and benefit briefings.
• Coordinate on‑site interviews and candidate visits to ensure a positive experience.
• Support onboarding administration for new hires across multiple European locations.
• Process vendor invoices and forward them to Finance on schedule.
• Enter payroll data for new joiners and track changes under People Ops guidance.
• Run regular compliance reporting such as probation tracking, absence records and leave balances.
• Assist with visa support letters and immigration logistics.
• Help the global Workplace team with Berlin‑based event coordination and local logistics.

Required profile

• Experience in office coordination, People Ops or administrative roles, preferably in a fast‑moving tech or scale‑up environment.
• Working knowledge of German employment legislation; knowledge of French or Irish legislation is a plus.
• Fluency in German and English.
