About the role
As a People Operations & Workplace Coordinator in Munich, you will be the first point of contact for new hires, manage HR and payroll administration, and ensure a smooth office environment for a large employee base in Germany.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome new starters, handle onboarding and off‑boarding processes, and maintain a positive employee experience.
- Create and manage employment contracts, supplemental agreements, references and keep employee data up‑to‑date in the Oracle HR system.
- Support monthly payroll in collaboration with the external payroll provider and internal payroll team.
- Serve as the primary contact for HR queries related to interns, trainees and full‑time employees.
- Maintain office facilities, manage relationships with landlords, cleaning services and suppliers, and coordinate with local IT support.
- Drive HR projects, organise internal employee events and contribute to process optimisation.
Required profile
- First experience working in HR or a related field.
- Good knowledge of German employment law.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot data discrepancies.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to build relationships across international teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
- Experience using Oracle HR system or similar HRIS platforms.
