People & Talent Intern

About the role

As a People & Talent Intern you will work directly with the Growth & Operations Manager to help build the team behind Lyceum. From day one you will own real parts of the recruiting pipeline, from sourcing candidates to ensuring the right hires are made at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage candidate pipelines across LinkedIn, referrals, community groups and outbound sourcing.
• Own end‑to‑end candidate communication: outreach, follow‑ups, scheduling and keeping the process moving.
• Support interview coordination and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Maintain and improve the ATS and recruiting workflows.
• Conduct initial screening calls and summarise candidate profiles for the hiring team.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and help Lyceum attract top talent.
• Assist with onboarding logistics as the team scales.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Psychology, HR, Communications or a related field.
• Genuine interest in people, talent acquisition and what makes a great hire.
• Strong written communication skills and reliable follow‑up.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks without dropping balls.
• Bias toward action and comfort with ambiguity.
• Prior experience in recruiting, HR or a startup environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting workflows.
