People & Talent Lead

About the role

ZeroPhase is building resilient data links for UAVs and needs a dedicated People & Talent Lead to own the full recruiting cycle and core HR operations. This junior‑level position offers real ownership from day one, shaping the company’s culture and growth as the first dedicated HR hire.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruiting pipeline: job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Maintain the ATS and ensure all candidate data is up‑to‑date.
• Screen candidates for a wide range of roles, from embedded software engineers to business development managers.
• Write and iterate job descriptions for engineering, BD, and operations positions.
• Develop relationships with sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, universities, and community referrals.
• Handle new‑hire onboarding, including contracts, equipment, and first‑day logistics.
• Support HR administration: personnel files, leave tracking, and policy documentation.
• Identify operational gaps and help build new HR processes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or people‑ops, or a strong internship record in a fast‑paced environment.
• Technical curiosity sufficient to meaningfully screen engineering candidates and commercial instinct for BD profiles.
• Clear communicator in both German and English.
• Highly organized, independent, and genuinely interested in defense‑tech impact.
