Principal Full Stack Developer (TypeScript)

About the role

In this role you will act as a technical leader, shaping the future of our platform and mentoring engineers around you. You will tackle ambiguous and challenging technical problems to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and built for the long term.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision and architecture for our core product, collaborating with the ML team to integrate new AI features.
• Lead the design and execution of large‑scale projects such as evolving our monorepo strategy or migrating a core service to a new architecture.
• Mentor senior engineers, elevate team skills through code reviews, architectural guidance, and best‑practice establishment.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to identify and de‑risk technical challenges in the roadmap for the next 1‑2 years.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable web applications.
• Deep system‑level expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with the ability to reason about the entire stack.
• History of leading complex technical projects and making critical architectural decisions.
• Passion for mentoring and raising the technical bar across the team.
• Excellent English communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
