Process Technician – Battery (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Process Technician for the Battery Pack area at the Gigafactory Berlin‑Brandenburg. In this position you will help develop and optimise manufacturing processes for electric motor and battery production, ensuring high efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously improve manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, implementing optimisation measures.
• Design and document standard work steps and workflows for product start‑ups and changes.
• Participate in the commissioning of new production equipment.
• Drive Lean Production, 5S and workplace cleanliness initiatives.
• Organise daily workflow independently and support training of new procedures.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in process engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, electronics or a comparable field.
• Experience in large‑scale production environments, preferably with industrial camera systems, robotics or casting technologies.
• Willingness to work shifts.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
